Will Parcelforce leave at Post Office?
If you are not at home when the driver attempts to deliver, they will leave a card with the details of your local Post Office where your parcel is being securely held for you to collect from the next working day. You need to take the card and a proof of ID showing your delivery address to collect your parcel.

What happens if I miss a Parcelforce delivery?
Missed a parcel delivery? After an initial attempted delivery, we will automatically attempt redelivery on the next working day if we haven't left your item at your local Post Office or with a neighbour. You can arrange an alternative redelivery or pick up below.
To ensure the safe delivery of your parcel, we need a signature to confirm successful delivery. If there is nobody to receive the parcel, the driver will either attempt delivery to a neighbour or take your parcel to be securely held at the local Post Office or depot.
Is Parcelforce the same as DHL?
Its European delivery partner, General Logistics Systems (GLS), is also a subsidiary of Royal Mail and delivers more than one million parcels a day across 34 countries in Europe. Parcelforce Worldwide is a direct competitor of other worldwide delivery brands, such as DHL, DX Group, FedEx and UPS.
Please note: That we deliver Monday to Friday 7am to 5.30pm and Saturday 7am to 2pm. We currently cannot give specific times for deliveries. We will attempt to deliver a maximum of 3 times, after which you will need to collect your parcel from the depot.
Does Parcelforce deliver on Sunday?
If you're wondering if Parcelforce delivers on a Sunday, then the answer is yes! In fact, Parcelforce has a dedicated Sunday delivery service called Parcelforce Express Sunday.
Deliveries on a Saturday are between 7am and 2pm. However, if the sender has not chosen the Saturday delivery service, then we will deliver your parcel on Monday (except for Bank Holidays / Public Holidays).
How does Parcelforce work?
Just book your parcel online, and choose how you want to despatch: Have your parcel collected. We can collect from your home or work address – but someone does need to be available to hand the parcel to our driver. Drop off your parcel at your local Post Office branch.
Delivery policy When no one is available to accept the item, we will try and deliver the parcel to a neighbour, or to a local Post Office branch, where it will be held for 16 days. A card will be left informing the recipient of the attempted delivery and where the parcel can be collected from.
How long do Parcelforce keep parcels?
We will hold your parcel for 20 days, after which your parcel will be returned to sender.
They can choose to have their parcel delivered to a neighbour, Post Office or left in their preferred safe place for a more convenient delivery.
Is Parcelforce cheaper than Royal Mail?

Why are Parcelforce so slow?
the delay is caused by adherence to Parcelforce Worldwide policies to provide a copy of the delivery record or a copy of the signature obtained at delivery; the parcel has not been packed adequately or has been packaged incorrectly. This information can be found in our Packaging Advice pages.
There are a few reasons why your tracking number isn't recognised. Please check you've entered the number correctly. If you're waiting for a parcel delivery check the sender has given you the right reference number. Check the reference number is for an item sent using a Parcelforce Worldwide service.
How many times do Parcelforce try to redeliver?
We will always attempt redelivery of a parcel twice, with the second attempt being the following working day (unless otherwise stated on the card left by our driver). If redelivery has been rearranged by the recipient this scan may appear on the website.
