Matalan has joined the DPD Pickup parcel shop network. The retailer has rolled out the DPD Pickup service to all its 222 stores nationwide. The stores offer late night opening and free parking, making good locations for parcel collection points.
Enhance your customer experience by integrating DPD Pickup into your checkout. They will still be able to divert their delivery to their local shop using the 'in-flight' options from their text or email notification.

What happens when you miss a DPD delivery?
The driver will make one delivery attempt. You're not there? The driver will try to deliver your parcel to your neighbour or at a Pickup parcelshop, so that you may receive your parcel as soon as possible but not later than 7 days.
No problem! You're not at home to take delivery of your order, and it's also not possible to deliver to the neighbours? Then we'll still do our absolute best to get the parcel to you as quickly as possible. After the first delivery attempt, DPD will deliver your parcel to the nearest Pickup parcelshop.
How many times will DPD attempt delivery?
If you are sending a parcel to a business address, the driver will attempt to deliver the parcel a maximum of three times. The last attempt will only take place by appointment.
