How does DPD Pickup work?
DPD Pickup allows you to have your parcel delivered to your local DPD Pickup shop (2,500 shops). You'll be notified by email & SMS when your parcel is ready to collect, and you'll have up to 7 days to collect at a time to suit you. Select the DPD Pickup option in the checkout.
Customers making a purchase online will have the option to choose their local post office as the collection point. DPD will deliver parcels directly to the post office and the postmaster will process customer collections at the counter.16-Aug-2021
Do DPD collect items?
Customers can also manage any returns via their local DPD Pickup point. DPD continues to innovate, and with many online shoppers used to click-and-collect as a delivery option, DPD Pickup gives retailers another great option for their customers.
Once your parcel is booked, all you have to do is bring it to a DPD drop off point near you and let us take care of the delivery. A DPD drop shop is usually a convenience store, pharmacy, supermarket or similar; in fact, you've probably been to one on numerous occasions without even realising!
Can I pick up a parcel for my partner?
Yes, in addition to their own ID, that person must also bring a copy or photo of the ID of the actual recipient so that we can check the name and details with what is on the parcel.
We hold parcels for a maximum of 21 days before they are returned to sender. Parcels which have been delivered to a Pickup Point are held at the Pickup Point for six days before being returned to sender.
What time do DPD collect until?
The time your parcel will be collected will depend on which service you've booked and with which carrier, but most of the collected courier services we offer are collected Monday-Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, excluding bank holidays and public holidays.
