Can DPD Pickup from home?
Parcel service DPD introduces the 'Pickup request' service for consumers and small businesses. This means that they no longer need to go out in all weathers to take their parcels to a parcel shop. They can now wait at home until the driver collects them.11-Nov-2018
DPD Pickup allows you to have your parcel delivered to your local DPD Pickup shop (2,500 shops). You'll be notified by email & SMS when your parcel is ready to collect, and you'll have up to 7 days to collect at a time to suit you. Select the DPD Pickup option in the checkout.
Do DPD collect items?
We collect the new goods from you, bring them to the customer, and then bring the faulty shipment back to you.
The time your parcel will be collected will depend on which service you've booked and with which carrier, but most of the collected courier services we offer are collected Monday-Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, excluding bank holidays and public holidays.
What do you need for DPD Pickup?
Choose from one of our 2,500 local Pickup shops and we'll have your parcel ready for you by midday tomorrow. You'll need to be bring 2 pieces of ID, photo ID and ID with your address on it, such as a utility bill.
To be able to offer DPD returns on your website, you'll first need to add a link to our returns service. Shoppers who click on the link will see your brand for reassurance and then complete a short form with details of their return item. They'll then be emailed their return label for them to print.
Does DPD have a collection point?
If you would prefer to collect your package from a DPD pickup point, order with DPD courier delivery. When the order is dispatched and received by DPD, click the Pickup link in the email or text message from DPD. You can then choose the 'Collect from Pickup Shop' option to select a convenient local Pickup Shop.
Customers making a purchase online will have the option to choose their local post office as the collection point. DPD will deliver parcels directly to the post office and the postmaster will process customer collections at the counter.16-Aug-2021
Can DPD print label for me?
With DPD Web Parcel consumers can create parcel labels whenever they like, even from their Facebook page. After selecting the right solution for their parcel shipping online, they can either print out the parcel label like they are used to or use the barcode they received.12-Aug-2015
DPD does not offer any 'Cash-on-delivery' services.
Do DPD hand over cash?
Unfortunately, you cannot send cash via courier companies such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, TNT or DPD. This includes any legal tender such as bank notes and coins.13-Nov-2017

Why has my DPD parcel not been collected?

What happens when you miss a DPD delivery?
The driver will make one delivery attempt. You're not there? The driver will try to deliver your parcel to your neighbour or at a Pickup parcelshop, so that you may receive your parcel as soon as possible but not later than 7 days.

If you want to be really sure, we offer an ID-check with our domestic shippment. Delivery is exclusively to the person you nominate, who must produce their identification document (identity card, passport or driving licence).
